Sometimes you don’t have the time or budget for a full blown website build. Mama’s Artisan Sweets had a working site already on Squarespace but she wanted to level up and make the site feel more professional. So we worked within her budget to improve on what she had. And what she had was some amazing, gorgeous product photos.

OUTCOME

• I reviewed Jen’s site and prioritized what would make the greatest improvement on her site. The main areas of focus were branding, color consistency, text treatments, adding photo galleries and creating a structure to the home page.

• Jen has a strong following on Instagram so we integrated that into her site.

• For photos, she does a wide range of desserts, so we created a gallery on the home page that represented that range so people understood immediately that she worked with both high end weddings and children’s birthday cakes.

• Adding Call-to-action buttons was an important part of our strategy to get her website to pull it’s own weight.

• I also added in some of the stellar reviews she had on her Google business page.

• In a matter of hours I was able to give her home page a big facelift!
