The overall structure of the site was a main client facing site, with a private, member only login portion accessible to physicians. They also needed to have an easy to update event portion, so I developed several template pages they could customize with their events.

As far as the design goes, to get to the root of what they wanted, we started with mood boards, then a wireframe, then a mockup design, with several meetings and check-ins along the way.
